2014 Fall picnic ride

Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Stonington Vineyards
Our annual fall picnic ride and potluck lunch is this coming weekend.  We have a 51 mile route planned for 9 AM, and a 31 mile route for a 10 AM departure.
Please RSVP via the survey link below, including food you will be bringing, or contact Mitch or Denise via email
Riders should return to the vineyard around 12:30 PM, pot-luck luncheon to start at 1 PM.  The club will be buying cases of wine for the party.  This year we will NOT have the full annual club meeting, to keep this a totally social occasion.  We will want to point out the highlights of the season and talk about suggestions for some more planned social events, and discuss the idea of a new clothing design.
Bob Lane places 6th at USA Duathlon nationals, men's 50-55 sprint division, which should mean he will be making his 4th trip to the World Championships next year.  Congratulations, Bob, on a great season!!!
For up-to-the-minute ride information, please check the Mystic Velo Facebook page.  This is now an open group:

Mystic Velo Club 2013 end-of-season ride and picnic was held on Sunday, October 6th at Stonington Vineyards
As in previous years, we had overcast weather, and even a bit of rain, but with a few tents, we ended up have another really fun picnic, and club meeting.  There were many good ideas for future activities for the club, so hoping that 2014 will our best year ever.
