Current and prospective members, please join the MVC board for a end of season pizza dinner and meeting to highlight the accomplishments of 2008 and discuss the 2009 season. Here are the details:
What: End of Season Gathering
When: October 17, 2008 6pm
Where: Connecticut College, Blaustein Humanities Center hood dining room (where last year's meeting was held.)
Pizza and refreshments will be served and directions to the meeting place can be found on the forum.
To Compete in Mohegan Sun Bike Race Weekend
The MVC Juniors have compiled a stunning record of 30 podium places (8 first, 12 second, 12 third) while racing over 40 times from Pennsylvania to New England since the season began in April.
The team consists of 8 riders between the ages of 15 to 17 years of age who live in southeastern Connecticut.

They will be capping off this successful first year program by racing both The 3 Village Tour Road Race, 20 miles, in Sprague on Saturday and The Rose Pedal Criterium, in downtown Norwich on Sunday.
